The Order of the Universe
The Order of the Universe is an independent knowledge, media, and transmedia institution
devoted to the discovery, preservation, organization, implementation, and transmission of
consequential work. Its portfolio spans comparative religion, linguistics, statecraft,
sacred texts, music, synthetic civilizations, software, interactive worlds, and original systems of thought.
The name is old. Ordo Universi et humanarum scientiarum prima monumenta —
"The Order of the Universe and the First Monuments of the Human Sciences" — is a 1581
engraving by Andrea Bacci, physician to Pope Sixtus V: the whole order of knowledge,

Ordo Universi · The Ninety-Five
Ordo Universi is also the name of the institution's ninety-five-degree
educational canon — a graded curriculum of self-command, symbolic literacy, and widening
responsibility, issued as illustrated monographs. The degree system is one of the Order's
principal original works; it is not the totality of the institution.
